Another great mod to expand the racing aspect of this game. I hope you add more tracks to this pack in the future, for eg. add race missions to the existing modded tracks that other members of the community have made.Really recommend this mod for anybody itching for a TC experience.

An amazing mod! I look forward to seeing the possibility of more added, like the addition of more Real World Tracks available for Beam. Or another series all together (Later TC, perhaps Oval?)

Absolute masterpiece, no doubt! Though, for some configs to appear you have to enable .pc configurations. Aside from that - this is beautiful.

Map Description

A short view back to the past, this mod is the first-ever (to my knowledge at least) combining 3 bespoke tracks, a new race track map, 27 custom configs with custom parts inspired by real-world cars, 13 custom 80s racing skins (Thanks Madi for about 50% of them), 3 seasons of Ai competition with 5 races each, 3 Endurance races with multiclass traffic, 2 extra bonus races still in the 80/90s theme and overall at least 4 and a half hours of Ai racing content alone to play through assuming you win first try.

Features:

As previously mentioned the concept of this mod is an entirely new concept giving you everything you need to make an 80s Touring Car racing fever dream. No longer will you have to combine multiple mod packs, maps, cars, and liveries and then make the races yourself with this mod. It comes pre-packaged with 3 generations of touring cars, 3 bespoke tracks with included lore, time trials, and of course Ai races, a new 80s-themed Hirochi Raceway map, and a bunch of races on existing maps such as WCUSA and Automation Test Track as well as my own map (Xero Parklands).

There are 5 custom-built tracks specifically for this mod either within the maps that you already know from the base game or based on them.

Endurance races:

Again to my knowledge a first in BeamNg this pack includes 3 endurance races where you take on the role of finishing the race as a second driver and seeing how far up the order you can get in the 30 minutes to over an hour of racing competition. Not only will you have to pass AI racers to win you will also have to do this whilst navigating slower AI racing traffic around the whole lap.

Homologation Specials:

Are you a fan of the Nissan GTR or BMW M3? Of course, you are! This pack has a homologation special street car for every race car model in the pack so if you want some souped-up tuners or an Aussie Muscle Car inspired wendover this pack is also for you!

The Races:

With 5 main championship races of around 10 minutes each and 1 endurance race for each season as well you will have a lot to do before running out content. For all of the races, the AI were checked and improved in their racing quality and race craft meaning that they are some of the fastest and most competitive AI in Beam (Though they are still Beam AI). In minimal places will you find the AI turning into walls and making silly mistakes (Though again they are still Beam AI). Start grids were also spread out to give Ai the best chance of survival but I would still be on the lookout for turn 1 shenanigans.

Track Details

A very difficult track to tame and one that will test the capabilities of humans and machines alike. Built in 1975 after the closing of the Targa Italia and subsequent Piccolina Circuit the racing crowd of Italy looked towards a new location and landed here on the streets of Norte. The track closed in 1989 amid safety concerns and would move to the airport on a temporary circuit in years to follow.

It takes place up and down the hills of Chinatown in Belasco City. Known for its unique and challenging layout it was a fan favorite in its day. Built in the 1980s as demand for small cars grew on the west coast and as racing outgrew small islands this track only ran for 10 short years up until the GrandPrix circuit was constructed in 1990. This track is very challenging with lots of hills and bumps alike, perfect for touring cars but not anything much faster.

It was built as a safer alternative to the streets of Norte I’m not sure how much safer it is with its mile-long straights and fast ess turns it is the polar opposite to Norte but no less tricky or difficult to drive quickly. Built in the late 1980s as the Norte Street circuit slowly became too unsafe and too narrow for the modern machines this super highway of a race track was in practice not a ton safer in its early years but certainly led to better racing. This track has extremely long straights and high-speed sections. You will want top speed here over all else.

Ever wondered what the Historic Hirochi Raceway lost circuit looked like when it wasn’t so lost? Well, look no further as the Hirochi Raceway is here in all of its retro racing glory. A completely separate map.

This track is by far the weirdest of the bunch being under a mile with a huge banked turn; this track on the Industrial map in the fields of Texas is a surprisingly fun challenge and shockingly good for racing considering everything working against it.
